Illustration
Illustrations are geometric, structural, and semi-abstract. They reduce subjects to essential geometry while preserving meaning.
Style and Line Language
- Built from simple shapes, grids, and clean lines aligned to the 8 px grid.
- Outlines over fills; use fills only for large backgrounds or accent shapes.
- 2 px stroke for primary shapes; 1 px for detail and texture.
- 0 px corners for structural forms; 2 px for organic or human-facing elements.
Color Usage
- Use Void Charcoal layers for depth, Pulsar White 1000 for structure, Xevor Flare 1000 for forward motion, Nexa Cluster 1000 for signals, Aurel Sand 1000 for premium moments.
- Keep palettes limited: 2-3 colors plus neutrals per illustration.
- Avoid gradients, shadows, and decorative flourishes.
When to Use Illustration
- Abstract concepts, onboarding flows, and metaphors.
- When a photograph would be too literal or privacy-sensitive.
- Not for UI, navigation, or small actions (use icons).
